Four bedroom plus private den Two bath Sleeps 12 Drive onto the quaint country bridge and over the stream to what appears to be a simple house. Don't be fooled... it hides a beautifully appointed, light, clean and huge interior. A separate addition to the house allows families, or large groups, to travel together and maintain privacy. Each group can relax in their own private sleeping area and then meet in one (or both) of the two dining areas for the big family style meal. Enjoy cooking in the large, well appointed kitchen. Eat in either of two dining rooms. Relax by the wood stove on a cool country night with some books or board games. Warmer weather brings grilling on the back patio, relaxing in the Gazebo by the stream, and swimming in the stream! 10 minutes to Belleayre Mountain and Ski Plattekill, Belleayre Lake, state land and hiking. 5 minutes to Margaretville (antiquing, restaurants, food shopping, drug store, movie rental, yoga, and more). 10 minutes to Andes (great antiquing and restaurants) "Private Chef" option Would you like to be catered to this weekend? How about your own private chef? It doesn't get much better than having a live-in gourmet chef to cook and clean up for you. His schedule is limited so be sure to ask about availability. Charges are in addition to, and separate from, the rental rate but do not increase the amount of your deposit. "Private Outdoor Guide" option Your private chef is also a New York State licensed guide and very familiar with all the fauna, flora and trails in the area and he is registered with the New York State Outdoor Guides Association. His schedule is limited so be sure to ask about his availability. Charges are in addition to, and separate from, the rental rate but do not increase the amount of your deposit. • Up to six people: $550.00/weekend • Up to twelve people: $750.00/weekend Additional days are available. We request a security/damage deposit with each rental , usually in the amount of the rental.
(Don't worry, you'll get it right back and we know you'll be careful.)
Applicable sales and lodging tax will be added.
(The government wants their share and they get real testy if they don't get it!)
Well behaved pets are frequently welcome with additional deposit.
(Some dogs may be asked to run around and play with our dog but it's not a requirement for rental.)

When you're ready to rent, we'll email you a rental agreement with all the important information.
(It's a quick read. The plot is thin but the characters are very interesting.)
Generally speaking, a weekend begins Friday afternoon and ends on Sunday afternoon and holiday weekends begin Friday afternoon and end on Monday afternoon.
(If it were up to us, weekends would begin on Wednesday!)
Most houses have a separate cleaning fee that should be left in cash at the house at the end of your stay. Housekeepers are independent contractors (and are very nice people).
