• We had a wonderful stay at Jason and Phyllis's place! The house is beautiful, clean and cozy and the location is great! We will look to stay here again in the future!

• A beautiful sanctuary in the woods, close to the ski mountain. The space was clean and comfortable and the hosts were wonderfully responsive, kind, and attentive during (and after) our stay.

• This place was fantastic, I fell in love with the area around this mountain quite some time ago, I’ve been back and forth and stayed in a few different places around the local area. This place for a larger group is absolutely magical, we were disappointed we had to leave so soon, we were all wishing we could’ve stayed the entire week. Jason and Phyllis, do a very nice job keeping this gem in order.

• We were so happy with our time at Starry Oaks. It was very close to Spillian! Secluded with plenty of adorable touches. It was perfect for our group of 6!

• Lovely and cozy cabin in a magnificent location! We enjoyed our stay very much, the house was clean and nicely furnished, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We wish we could stay for longer so we could read all the exciting books that were stored around the house. Jason And Phyllis are very attentive hosts and provided us with all the information about the location and the house beforehand

• Jason and Phyllis were great hosts. They provided ample communication prior to our stay that allowed us to be totally prepared. Overall the cabin was lovely, the heat worked very well, and the location was pretty and secluded. The hosts took care to label things clearly. We also enjoyed the provided pamphlets for things to do in the area. We spend one day hiking and another day at awestruck ale house which was phenomenal. The cabin was stocked with plenty of toilet paper, utensils, dishware and linens. On our last night we enjoyed the fire pit with ample seating just before a light rain rolled in. It was a nice getaway and we would love to stay here or another one of Jason and Phyllis‘s properties again.

• A beautiful house, truly makes you feel like you are away. The house was perfect for our group a nice getaway from the city. The house is designed so beautifully, we loved the feel of it. So many nice places to just sit and relax. A beautiful porch to just sit and relax outside. Jason and Phyllis were great hosts! Provided us with all the information we could possibly need and always so accessible! Would recommend if you are looking to unwind and disconnet.

• We loved staying at this house! We booked it with two other couples to attend a friend's summer wedding at Spillian. It is a great location! An easy 10 min drive to the venue. Very private and beautiful grounds. We saw deer and turkeys! And the house is gorgeous. Lovely decorative touches. A fun mix between rustic cabin and stylish modern decor. We loved hanging out at the dining room table. But we also appreciated the cool downstairs couch and tv room after we took a walk and came back hot. The bed was comfortable and the linens were high quality. The kitchen was well-labeled and stocked with cookware and even spices/ condiments. Just a lovely stay all around.

• Starry Oaks was a beautiful retreat and Jason and Phyllis couldn't be lovelier, more communicative hosts. They provided all the information we needed ahead of time and we arrived to welcoming little touches like treats for our doggy! The property is well kept and very comfortable. The layout of the house is perfect for both being in community with your fellow guests, or retreating to one of the living room/den areas to read a book or enjoy a cup of tea. The outdoors on the property are also lovely, with ample spaces to sit and bask in the sun, or take a morning walk down the wooded gravel road leading up to the house. We were in town for a wedding at the nearby Spillian property and Starry Oaks was the perfect location for us to feel like we had our own little corner of the Catskills while still being close enough to the venue. Oh, and the wifi worked great (which you will need in such a remote area). We will definitely return to Starry Oaks and hope you enjoy it as much as we did in the meantime.

• Phyllis and Jason were communicative hosts who were very accommodating. They even let us check in a couple hours earlier which made a big difference for us on our first day of vacation! Everything we needed was available in or near the home. The grounds were gorgeous, house was very clean and organized, and the house directions for easy to follow. All in all, one of the best stays I've ever experienced! Thank you Jason and Phyllis!
